Season: 2025

Levy Sanchez

I was always an athlete. Whether on the court, field, sand, or track, playing sports has always a passion of mine. Growing up in Miami, FL; and I have played basketball since I was 13. After a devastating injury in football, basketball called my name and I have developed a true love for the game.

Since then I have played in multiple camps around Florida and adult leagues. I was able to expand my game and compete at the Division II level at Spring Hill College in Mobile, AL.

After suffering an ACL injury my sophomore year, I built the courage to get back on the court and was named team captain my senior year. There I was also a track runner and an avid sand volleyball player. I earned my stripes by being named the Women’s Basketball Coach at MAU after some high school and little league coaching experience. My goal as the Head Coach is to instill core values and principles players will carry with them on and off the court.

“A coach’s worth isn’t found in their W/L record…It’s about their impact in the game and more importantly the impact in their player’s lives.”
